The AI in Education Program equips educators with essential knowledge and skills to effectively integrate AI technologies into their teaching practices. Participants will explore the history and evolution of AI, identify tools to automate tasks, enhance collaboration, and streamline classroom management. They will also practice crafting AI prompts, generating personalized lesson content, and creating adaptive quizzes and educational games to meet diverse learning needs.
The program emphasizes the ethical use of AI and involves analyzing AI-driven tools for grading, feedback, and differentiated learning to inform instructional strategies. Educators will develop strategies to integrate AI into curricula, with a focus on gamification and adaptive learning platforms. The program culminates in a capstone project where participants design AI-driven solutions to address educational challenges, inspired by successful real-world implementations.

Requirements to Enroll
No applications are needed to enroll. All learners are eligible to enroll in the course. There are no admissions requirements or prerequisites. It is recommended that learners have a high school diploma or GED.
Estimated Time to Completion
This course can be completed in 2 months working approximately 5 hours per week, or 45 hours total.
Access Time
Learners will have access to their course learning modules for up to 6 months from the date of their enrollment.

Certificate of Completion
After completion of all course units and earning a 100% class progress, learners will be awarded an official National University Professional and Continuing Education Certificate of Completion.
How to Access My Course
Allow up to 24 hours after enrollment for the course to appear in Brightspace. Follow the steps below:
- Log in to your student portal at westraining.nu.edu
- Click “Login”, then “Student Login”
- Log in using User Name (email address) and Password
- In your PACE student portal, click on “Brightspace LMS” on the left-hand navigation panel.
- Under My Courses, click the course title to get started.
