Course Description

The vast majority of project work in today's organizations is done in a team setting. In a team-based environment, project managers and team leaders have a tremendous responsibility and opportunity to develop and exhibit their leadership skills. This course discusses the roles and responsibilities of the project team leader, in particular, their responsibility with regard to project stakeholders. It describes how team leaders can build a positive team environment through effective communication, team-building activities, and active listening. Lastly, the course outlines conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques that help team leaders manage and facilitate team interactions so projects can meet their objectives with the fewest issues possible.
