Course Description

This course on Suicide: Assessment and Treatment will help therapists develop the awareness and skills needed to work effectively with clients who are experiencing suicidal thoughts, feelings, or behaviors.

The course will explore respectful terminology, risk factors, protective factors, theories, and a collaborative approach to assessment and treatment. We will also discuss self-care, which is necessary when working with clients, especially ones who are high risk.
