Grant Writing 101: Designing and Developing Proposals is part of a series of five courses that will help you better understand and prepare successful grant applications to a variety of different funding sources. Throughout each course, you will find helpful definitions, activities, examples, and summaries, as well as short tests and quizzes.

Requirements to Enroll

All learners are eligible to enroll in GRT5002X: Grant Writing 101: Designing and Developing Grant Proposals. There are no admissions requirements. It is recommended that learners have a high school diploma or GED

Access Time

Learners will have access to their course learning modules for up to 30 days from the date of their enrollment.


Certificate of Completion

Upon successfully completing the GRT5002X: Grant Writing 101: Designing and Developing Grant Proposals course, learners will receive a National University Workforce Community Education Professional and Continuing Education Certificate of Completion. Furthermore, upon completing all five Grant Writing courses, learners will be conferred with an official National University Workforce Community Education Professional and Continuing Education Certificate of Completion.


How to Access My Course

After enrollment allow up to 24 hours for the course to appear in Brightspace. Follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your student portal at westraining.nu.edu
  2. Click the drop down next to “Login”, then click “Student Login”
  3. Log in using User Name (email address) and Password
  4. Once logged into your PACE student portal, click on “Brightspace LMS” on the left-hand navigation panel.
  5. Under My Courses, click the course title to get started.
